Killer Hrapp has so far lived up to his name ... if you're a frozen-thawed rodent that is.

Here are some pics of Hrapp from 2007-01-04. He has come a long way and is now ready to find a home. He's eating frozen-thawed mice very reliably. Hrapp might have to lose his "killer" moniker as he's become a very friendly guy. He is relaxed in your hands, inquisitive, and likes to use people as substrate. Here are some pics from January.

When we took him away from his egg box to go into the common enclosure with his siblings he was the most defensive about being moved to the point where we just covered him up with a hide and let him rest for awhile while we did everybody else. When we came back to him he was still ready to take somebody out. Genearally we've noticed that so soon after hatching a young ball python isn't quite that ready to deal you your death blow.

When we brought Hrapp home from his first vet visit to get him sexed, we couldn't remove him from the sock where he stayed for the drive. After folding the sock wrong side out around him the problem became clear. He was gnawing on the inside of the sock with a murderous look in his eye.

After Hrapp has eaten a number of times reliably he will be for sale. If you would like to keep tabs, come here or contact us and we'll send you updates.

Here are some pics from 2007-09-04. What a killer eh? Okay he's a total ball of sweetness. It's pretty disgusting actually.
